Preperation:

Once you have booked your session with us, a small amount of preparation should be made from your side to ensure the session runs smoothly. If you are bringing audio files with you to use in the studio, for example a beat or backing track, please ensure they are in one of the following formats:

  • WAV
  • AIF
  • MP3
  • Audio CD

The preferred file formats are uncompressed stereo WAV and AIF as they provide full quality audio. MP3s are usable but have a lower quality and bitrate.

You can bring your audio files in any of the following ways:

  • On a CD
  • USB Stick
  • Bluetooth device (eg. Mobile Phone)
  • Portable music player (eg. Ipod)
  • External Hard drive
  • Internet Download

Feel free to bring along 1 or 2 extra people to the session for support, but try to keep numbers as low as possible when work starts as more people means more noise and more distraction.

Water and light refreshments will be available on your visit to Yard26, and you can expect a warm, calm and comfortable environment in the studio.
